DIRECTOR OF Patient ENGAGEMENT
Amy spent seven years as the executive director of the Colorado Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation before joining Believe Limited in 2019. She has a background in non-profit management, program development, grassroots advocacy, healthcare policy, fundraising, and theatre.
Amy spent ten years working as an actress, theatre/dance teacher, and choreographer before entering into the non-profit sector. She was lucky enough to be introduced to the bleeding disorder community by a family friend in 2003 and has been a proud advocate for the community since.
She spent several years at the University of Colorado Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center, with Dr. Marliyn Manco-Johnson and Dr. Mike Wang, as summer camp director and program coordinator before heading to NHF Colorado.
Amy is involved in the program development of The Science Fair, and several medical and community-focused podcasts for Believe and BloodStream Media, in addition to her community engagement duties.
Amy holds a BFA in Music Theatre from Western Michigan University and a Masters in Non-Profit Management from Regis University in Denver, CO.
