Japneet was born and raised in India, with a love of film instilled into him at a young age by a grandfather that took him to a movie theater nearly every day of the summer, initially purely for the air conditioning. Japneet moved to the US at 8 years old (his sleep schedule will adjust to the 12-hour time difference any day now) and began working as a video editor while still in his second year of high school.

Japneet's editing work includes award winning short films, marketing material for major motion pictures from studios including Touchstone and A24, short-form documentaries for organizations such as American Red Cross, and more.

Outside of work, Japneet enjoys completely healthy obsessions with reading, cooking, Formula 1 racing, and movies that none of his friends have heard of.
