Kay Vermeil is a film editor and writer with a passion for documentaries, feature films, and tasteful fades-to-black. Born and raised in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, Kay made her way to Los Angeles to attend USC's School of Cinematic Arts, where she graduated magna cum laude with a BFA in Film & Television Production.

Her narrative, commercial, and music video editing work has been featured in Rolling Stone, Time’s Square, BET, and more, for artists such as Katy Perry, Migos, Sam Smith, Halsey, Lil Baby, Niall Horan, and Lewis Capaldi.

A creative in and out of work, Kay spends her free time reading, writing, perfecting her crème brûlée recipe, testing the local wine bars, and binge-watching the latest overly hyped limited series. She is a proud working mother of her cat, Shameika.
