Host Laurence Woollard is the founder and director of On The Pulse; an independent strategy consultancy providing specialist insight to UK and global healthcare providers and multi-agencies on patient activation campaigns in haemophilia and rare disease. He has extensive patient advocacy experience, having advised on and implemented a broad scope of community awareness, research and educational initiatives for commercial partners and third-sector organisations. As a person living with haemophilia, Laurence is a driven campaigner for effecting real change in improvements to quality of life and care for his peers.

Senior Adviser Dr. Donna DiMichele has had over 40 years of aggregate experience in academic pediatric hematology practice and clinical hemophilia research and, while at the National Institutes of Health, in the strategic development of novel blood science research opportunities, optimization of organizational research oversight, and creation of novel pathways to reinvigorate the blood science research workforce.
